I just downloaded 7 apps! All are required by my kids’ school!
Interesting how teachers are staying connected with the parents using social media and technologies, and how they are using these tools to document kids’ learning journeys.
My husband felt a bit overwhelmed with all the apps. But I am loving it! I just exchanged a few messages with my younger kid’s school teacher and got immediate replies, even though today’s a holiday.
Each day the teacher posts a "story/moment" including pics of children’s activities. I just saved both of my kids’ pics! All these apps have become the default communication channels between parents, and between parents and teachers.
Bye bye email.
